Charras Center at the corner of Bezon and Baudin.
On December 5, 2004, Abou Bakari falls into a coma at the police station where Courbevoie he was in custody for want of valid documents. He died without regaining consciousness 24 January 2005.
Amnesty International mentions this case in its report on police violence in France.
6 years after the death of Abu Bakari, his close association and support still awaiting the conclusions of Justice.
> In July 2009, forensic experts were able to make their final conclusions, the medical record with Abu Bakari finally been found after being "lost" for several years.
> These findings are inconsistent with the testimony of the police officers of Courbevoie, including origin of the coma.
> In November 2010, the judge handling the case has finished hearing as an "assisted witness" the 5 police officers present on the evening of drama.

For the ongoing judicial investigation goes to the end, so that such tragedies do not happen again in our police stations, so that nobody dies from being unable to present valid documentation, France, the twenty-first century; Add your support to associations:
