How many times have I mentioned that the animals of Quebec have nobody to protect them. Let me explain. We have no place to lay a complaint against a moron who does not take care of his dog or one who tortures cats in the alley.

Anima-Quebec is a big zero and spa and spca are not interested in protecting an animal if there is no advertising attached thereto.

But that could change. Info-Crime now accepts anonymous complaints. Quebecers are strong on anonymity when it comes to protecting animals. That should help. Not that it is satisfied that the police can do something about it but a little education might help.

INFO-CRIME now accepts to receive anonymous calls from citizens witnessed acts of animal cruelty. How involved are the municipalities Pounds

The Citizen's Guide 2010 for the city of Laval has just released. It contains full information about city life and neighborhood but what always attracts my attention is how little our elected leaders make animal protection.

Citizens have no idea what a call this place could generate as consequences for an animal. No municipality in Quebec does not promote support or protection for animals, only the control and that's horror.
