How Old Are Goldfish When They At Pet Shops

Refuge Campifélin alias SPCA Valleyfield

As I described in my paper written in 2007 but still relevant The Pounds, "inspectors" were presented to the shelter Campifélin early in the morning even before the founders, Linda, Ashley and Louise are on site. They had completed a tour of the cages at 2 hrs in the morning and were entitled to a break.

Made aware of the delegation and the truck identified cubes SPCA, Linda came running to the news. It's the heart pounding she tried to learn more.

She never knew the truth this morning. Even with all his questions, we kept asking him the keys to the shelter. By scheming and collusion, they pulled him and entered the building without warrant or legal authority. Coudonc, what kind of society that's it, Quebec.

The same maneuver had taken place the previous Saturday while the girls went to visit and closed cages and give more water to the cats. A city employee arrived on scene and lied to Linda, saying "that people were coming to help them and they had nothing to do." However, it was the same group who came with his big boots, they dragged in every room for "inspect". This group not only did not come to help but to identify firsthand what it could give the event as an excuse that he can take control.

In their eyes, all cats were in poor condition. Rumor has it that after their takeover, the fact that 3 has euthanized. Big deal!

Still, this morning, after we pulled the keys from the hands of Linda, the group entered the building and closed off leaving key 3 girls in tears, wondering what which was to get the cats they had occupied for 2 years.

In this group of inquisitors, it took Johanne Tasse, a nobody with an ego bigger than his site Internet, Doris Ferrin, the representative of the city with which it has engineered the whole affair, Corinne Gonzalez Director of the SPCA Ste Agathe, whom I trust but I can not imagine that instead of helping it has supported the other 2 for their takeover, and a handful of BusyBodies, volunteers who had not the impression that what they were told to participate in a rescue operation.

The idea of arriving unannounced at the shelters is obviously to take the volunteers in default. A poop in the litter too and Johanne Tasse exclaimed "this is unacceptable." God knows that morning, overflowing litter for all cats are nocturnal. However, the cup has admitted he knew nothing about cats and little dogs. What is she doing there then? We will see later.

If allowed to enter, too late. Inspectors, police officers, city employees, etc.. will say they had permission. Wrong! It is through collusion and connivance they invest themselves the authority to inspect something they do not even know and they especially do not want to know the situation. And most importantly, never, they never come to "help". Stay for the words and beware if you have more cats allowed in your residence.

When Linda arrived at the shelter for information, the local newspaper was there. It was a public relations exercise much more than the rescue of cats who did not need to be saved that the group had organized. Indeed the first article that came out gave Featured Johanne Tasse and his CAA ... something.

Never, in the city, in local newspapers or among the volunteers we had accepted the job as the three founders had done with few resources. How to enforce a verbal contract ever signed paper, they are committed by honesty, picking up stray dogs, giving the news by telephone to taxpayers and accepting Valleyfield abandoned cats that people brought.

I hope that this story is not finished and that the three founders will not lose all the money they have invested in personal adventure. Besides all the material that volunteers and other agencies had provided free.
